'Fear The Walking Dead' Season 2 Episode 13 Review

As we saw at the end of episode 12, Travis has located the hotel in which his family is residing in. At the gates of the hotel are dozens of refugees seeking shelter. Madison and the group aren't allowing them in, as they're trying to gain entry. Madison spots Travis and gets him inside, leaving out the rest.

Travis begins to tell Madison how sorry he is for leaving, as he now understands her choice of picking her kids over her partner. The rest of the episode shows Travis's journey with Chris and the group of Americans they're currently with. Chris had previously killed a man, and Travis is mortified that he shows no signs of remorse for it. Chris is now completely too far gone, and eventually leaves Travis behind to travel back to San Diego with the other men.

We also saw Madison come clean to Alicia about her father's death, and apologizes to her for everything regarding Nick. This episode made me hate Chris even more than I already did. He's such a lost cause and unlikeable character because of his arrogance and attitude. I'm glad he left Travis behind, as I believe he was a major hindrance to the well-being of the rest of the group. The twist of the episode came when we saw the group Chris is traveling with show up at the hotel gates. It would be crazy seeing Chris attacking his family, and even crazier if Travis were forced to kill him.

Not a bad episode, but a little maddening because of Chris.

My rating: 7 out of 10
