Story #1 'Suicide Squad' Wraps Production
Producer David Ayer tweeted the announcement that 'Suicide Squad' has now wrapped production. Ayer also tweeted out a picture of a logo for the government organization originally thought to be ARGUS.
Story #2 'The Green River Killer' Film Being Made
Birth.Movies.Death and Deadline are reporting that a film based on the Green River Killer, a real-life serial killer, will star and be directed by Michael Sheen. Per Deadline:
"The film tells the story of police detective Tom Jensen, who spent 20 years looking for the notorious Green River Killer, and Ridgway, the man he eventually caught. Ridgway was arrested in 2001 thanks to DNA evidence and is serving life in prison with no chance of parole. Sheen’s script is based on Dark Horse Entertainment’s graphic novel Green River Killer: A True Detective Story by Jensen’s son Jeff Jensen and artist Jonathan Case."
Story #3 Mon Mothma to Have Significant Role in 'Rogue One'
Also announced from the Entertainment Weekly edition featuring 'Rogue One' was Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy and her revelation of Mon Mothma's role, saying:
“We actually see quite a bit of her,” says Kennedy (who’s kind of the Mon Mothma of Lucasfilm now). “The Rebel alliance is in disarray. Pretty panicked. Up against it. And she is trying the best she can to provide the leadership, in amongst a wide variety of Rebel soldiers that have very differing opinions as to what to do.”
Story #4 'The Flash' Actress Confirms Her Character's Return
Actress Violett Beane, who portrays Jessie Quick, daughter of Harrison Wells, has confirmed her character's return during season 3 with TV Line, saying:
“I know I’ll be back, but I don’t know if it’s with or without powers.”
“When Jesse got hit, I was like ‘It’s happening! It’s happening!’ There was the spark when she got out of the coma, but… it didn’t happen, and I was like, ‘No!’ I’m very excited [to play a speedster], and would love for it to happen early next season. … With the whole Flashpoint, anything can happen, right? It’s literally open to any different kind of false reality. She could be Earth-One Jesse, she could be a speedster… Who knows!”
Story #5 Hannah John-Kamen Cast in 'Ready Player One'
'Killjoys' star Hannah John-Kamen has joined the cast of Steven Spielberg's adaptation of 'Ready Player One' according to Deadline. Though her role hasn't been released, the article says her role is a leading one, which I personally think will be the character Aech from the novel.

Check out these set photos from 'Thor: Ragnarok' featuring set construction. Filming is set to begin on July 4th in Australia.
Story #7 Weekend Box Office
Pixar's 'Finding Dory' once again took the #1 spot this weekend, bringing in another $73.2 million, increasing its domestic earnings to $286.5 million in its second week.
'Independence Day: Resurgence' came in at #2 in its debut with a $46.6 million opening weekend. Currently sporting a 33% critic rating and 40% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the film has been disappointing to all those people who have waited 20 years for a sequel
