'Supergirl' Casts Superman
Deadline is reporting that actor Tyler Hoechlin (MTV's Teen Wolf) has been cast as Superman in season 2 of 'Supergirl', now on The CW.
Executive producer Andrew Kresiberg spoke on the casting, saying:
"Greg [Berlanti] and I have wanted to work with Tyler for ages, so this worked out perfectly because Tyler is Superman". "We are so thrilled and humbled to add another amazing actor to the legacy of this iconic character."
Clark Kent/Superman is set to appear during the first two episodes of the upcoming season of 'Supergirl', which returns this fall on The CW.
