'Arrow' Season 5 Villain Revealed?
According to Comic Book Resources and TV Line, the villain for season 5 of 'Arrow' is tentatively named Anton Church. Described as an "apex predator” who “cuts his way through the shadows” and will target “the biggest threat first.”
Church is not a character from DC Comics and will reportedly be an original villain, drawing inspiration from Idris Alba's character Stringer Bell from 'The Wire' and Jason Mamoa's Khal Drogo from 'Game of Thrones'.
Stephen Amell commented on the villain, saying:
"I've heard that our big bad, our villain, is something that you can really only do once you're in the fifth, sixth or seventh season of a TV show," said Amell in late May. "As far as I know, they don't have superpowers. I'll tell you that."
