Story #1 Tom Cavanagh Confirmed for Season 3 of 'The Flash'
Tom Cavanagh's 'Harrison Wells' character has been confirmed to return as a series regular for season 3 of 'The Flash' according to Entertainment Weekly. With the way season 2 ended, the possibility of an adaptation of the 'Flash Point' comic arc could come into play for season 3.
Story #2 'Maze Runner: The Death Cure' Relsease Date Pushed
The forthcoming addition to the 'Maze Runner' series has been pushed back to a 2018 release date due to the injuries star Dylan O'Brien sustained during the production of he film, Warner Bros. reports. The film was set to release in February of 2017.
Story #3 Rosa Salazar to Star in 'Battle Angel'
An adaptation of the manga 'Battle Angel Alita' is in production as James Cameron has been leading the effort with Robert Rodriguez attached to direct. According to Collider, actress Rosa Salazar is set to star in the film. Per Cameron:
“Robert and I have been looking for a film to do together for years, so I was pumped when he said he wanted to do Battle Angel,” stated Cameron. “He’s very collaborative and we’re already like two kids building a go-kart, just having fun riffing creatively and technically. This project is near and dear to me, and there’s nobody I trust more than Robert, with his technical virtuosity and rebel style, to take over the directing reins. We’re looking forward to learning a lot from each other while we make a kick-ass epic.”
Story #4 'Homeland' Season 6 Plot Details
Actor Rupert Friend, who plays Quinn, has been confirmed to return for season 6 of 'Homeland' according to Entertainment Weekly. Executive producer Alex Gansa gave some details on Quinn's story line for the new season, which will be set in New York, saying:
“How Peter Quinn’s character is gonna be dramatized this year is going to surprise people, and it may not be what you think.” As for a potential romance between Carrie and Quinn, “because they’re both very damaged people and I think that they have a similar attraction to high voltage, high adrenaline situations that tend to have an incredible benefit but more likely to have a very catastrophic end.”
Gansa added, “Quinn really put his life in her hands at the end of last season and we will see what decision she made, but that’s going to have repercussions moving forward for her and for that idea of Quinn as well.”
Story #5 Tom Hiddleston in Talks for to Play James Bond
Birth.Movies.Death is reporting that actor Tom Hiddleston is confirmed to be in talks to be the next James Bond in the upcoming 25th installment of the franchise. Current Bond, Daniel Craig, has made it very clear recently with his comments that he wants out of the role.
Story #6 Jesse Eisenberg Confirms Role in 'Justice League'
Speaking at London Comic-Con, Jesse Eisenberg confirmed his participation in next year's 'Justice League: Part One' saying:
"I'm kind of in wait," according to Digital Spy. "They just started filming 'Justice League,' so I'm kind of, like, waiting for my crack at it. I don't know what I'm allowed to say, because I feel like there's probably some drone following me from DC, and if I say anything wrong I get, you know, picked off."
Story #7 Jeff Bridges Joins Cast of 'Kingsman: The Golden Circle'
The Wrap is reporting that Jeff Bridges will join the cast of 'Kingsman: The Golden Circle', as the actor also confirmed on Twitter this weekend. No role has been confirmed for him at this point.
