Rewind: 'Friends'
Arguably the greatest sitcom of the 90's was 'Friends'. Starring Courtney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow as America's favorite groups of friends. The series lasted for 10 seasons, running from 1994 - 2004.
The story of 'Friends' saw a group of initial late 20's New Yorkers finding their way in their careers, love-lives and everyday shenanigans. Whether at Monica's and Rachel's apartment or the Central Perk, the group was typically together, sharing their days and experiences with each other.
The group dynamic saw many changes with who was dating whom at the time, either outside the group or internally. As the seasons went by, the issues also changed according to where each character was in their own personal life: having children, new jobs, new relationships and Monica & Chandler eventually moving away at the end of the series.
A major focus of the show was the on again, off again relationship between Rachel and Ross. Roommates Joey & Chandler always made for hilarious comic relief and the eccentric Phoebe always brought that "weird factor" to the group with her colorful background and experiences.
Still in syndication today, 'Friends' remains one of my favorite shows and is one that I'll frequently turn on even though I've seen every episode literally dozens of times. The series just has that great re-watchability factor that networks long for.
