Wentworth Miller Exits 'Legends of Tomorrow' as Series Regular

I waited to post this article until I watched last week's episode of 'Legends of Tomorrow', as I didn't want to be spoiled on the episode.
If you watched said episode, you know that Wentworth Miller's Leonard Snart/Captain Cold character died, sacrificing himself at the end of the episode. It comes as no surprise that he will no longer appear as a regular cast member on the show, but all is not lost.
Miller's contract with the network is unique and allows for him to make appearances on all DC/CW shows, including 'The Flash, 'Arrow' and most likely 'Supergirl'.
Producer Greg Berlanti made a statement regarding Miller, who is currently shooting the new incarnation of "Prison Break". Per Berlanti in an interview with Deadline:
(MIller) “won’t be part of the team of Legends on board of The Waverider next year, he will have a very active role on the show.”
