Story #1 'Dungeons & Dragons Finds Director

Dust off your monster manual, polish your 12-sided die and level up your wizards, because Variety is reporting the 'Dungeons & Dragons' reboot has found its director in Rob Letterman (Goosebumps). Warner Bros. recently won a court case over the film rights to develop the new reboot, but no release date or casting information has been made available yet.

Story #2 'Inhumans' Still in the Mix

A few weeks ago, MCU czar Kevin Feige broke the news that the 'Inhumans' movie would NOT be part of Phase 3. In a recent interview with Empire (interview in link), Feige said they are stil planning on bringing the Royal Family to the big screen, saying:

“The only situation right now is that [Inhumans] is not gonna be a part of Phase 3 because Phase 3 increased in a very good way since we initially announced. When and where and how it pops up remains to be seen, but it’s characters we love, it’s a storyline we love, and we just didn’t want to cram it into an already quite full Phase 3.”

Story #3 'Black Panther' to Feature Majority of African & African-American Cast

During the same interview listed above with the 'Inhumans' intervew, Kevin Feige mentioned news about the upcoming 'Black Panther' solo film. Starring Chadwick Boseman, the newly announced Michael B. Jordan and reportedly Lupita Nyong'o, Feige said:

“That will be amongst the best ensembles we’ve ever had, and 90 percent of the cast is either African or African-American.”

'Black Panther' hits theatres in February, 2018.

Story #4 Professor-X to Appear in 'Wolverine 3'

Screen Rant is reporting that Professor-X, played by Patrick Stewart, will be appearing in the upcoming 'Wolverine 3' film, alongside Hugh Jackman in his final appearance as Weapon X. In an interview with Collider, producer Hutch Parker confirmed the news, saying:

“I am [involved in Wolverine 3], in fact I’m on loan from them right now… I will confirm that Patrick Stewart is part of the film.”

'Wolverine 3' is set to hit theatres on March 3rd, 2017.

Story #5 Weekend Box Office

Disney continued to dominate the box office this weekend, with 'Captain America: CIvil War' bringing in another $72.5 million in its second week. Also, ''The Jungle Book' held onto the #2 spot, adding $17.6 million in its fifth week.

#3: 'Money Monster' - $15 million (opening week)

#4: 'The Darkness - $5.1 million (opening week)

#5: 'Mother's Day' - $3.2 million (third week)
