Professor X to Appear in 'New Mutants'?

Fox appears to be moving forward with the 'New Mutants' film project. A second draft of the film has recently been handed in, and director/co-writer Josh Boone (The Fault in our Stars) teased which characters he'd like to see in the film.

In a recent interview with producer/writer Simon Kinberg by Collider's Steve 'Frosty' Weintraub, Kinberg revealed that a familiar face may be popping up:

“Right now, as the movie exists, Professor X would be a part of a New Mutants movie.”
