A New 'Han Solo' Has Been Cast
The upcoming 'Star Wars' Han Solo spinoff film has found its young Han Solo, casting Alden Ehrenreich as the galactic smuggler. Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street, LEGO Movie) are set to direct the film, set to release on May 25th,2018.
Ehrenreich (Hail, Caesar!, Blue Jasmine) is a bit of an unknown, which has its pros and cons.
According to Collider and The Wrap, "Story details for the untitled spinoff are under wraps, but Chewbacca will play a key role and The Wrap suggests that it’s possible Boba Fett could pop up in the film as well."
