Possible X-Men/Avengers Crossover?
With the MCU being the juggernaut that it is and the X-Men universe heading into 'Apocalypse', the idea of a crossover has been at the forefront of fans for years.
The recent deal between Sony and Marvel has finally brought Spider-Man "home". Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man can be seen swinging into action alongside Earth's Mightiest Heroes in a few short (LONG) weeks, but the rift between Fox and Marvel remains a big obstacle in uniting the franchises.
The Sony deal is one that was mutually beneficial for both studios, with Sony in financial distress and a negative outlook on their take on Spidey by fans. But with Fox's financial successes of most of the 'X-Men' films, little hope of a crossover seemed possible.
Recently, producer Simon Kinberg (X-Men) and director Tim Miller (Deadpool) talked about the future possibility of a united Marvel universe. Though nothing is at all confirmed and most likely won't be, the premise of seeing all of our Marvel heroes together leaves fans salivating at the thought.
