"Fear The Walking Dead' S02E01 Review
'Fear The Walking Dead', the spinoff of 'The Walking Dead' premiered last night.
Season 2 picked up right where season 1 left off with our characters seeking refuge aboard 'The Abigail', a yacht owned by the mysterious Victor Strand. The 'infected' have pushed the survivors to the beach front, forcing them off the coast.
The new ocean dynamic is a different spin for TWD setting, starting to answer the question of 'Can walkers swim?'. They don't "swim" as much as float but it was still cool to see.
There wasn't too much action in the premiere, with the exception being the opening beach scene. For me, it was a bit of a slow episode for a premiere but still piqued my interest for the rest of the season. While these characters don't hold a shadow to those like Rick, Daryl, Michonne, etc. there is still potential for growth.
