Legends of Tomorrow S01E07 "Marooned" Review

'Legends of Tomorrow', DC's TV-version of The Justice League, takes a B-list team of heroes and villains from other CW shows 'The Flash' and 'Arrow'.

I mainly have enjoyed the season so far. We get to spend a lot more time with characters like Ray Palmer/The Atom, Sarah Lance/White Canary, and a host of others. My favorite character has been Wentworth Miller/Captain Cold. A villain from 'The Flash' his addition to the team of 'heroes' has been fun and entertaining.

Tonight's episode "Marooned" returned us to find out what happened to the characters left in 1958 during the last episode. Ray and Kendra grew extremely close, even having Ray attempting to propose. As they were rescued 2 years later by the crew, Kendra's affections seemed to subside, but they came back together in the end.

Sarah's journey back to Nanda Parbat was cool and gave us a look at a child-version of Talia al ghul! You may recognize the name from Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight Rises'. Talia is the daughter of Ra's al ghul, the leader of the League of Assassins. In 'Arrow' we've only seen Nissa, another daughter. Could this be a possible hint at Batman in this universe?!

Snart (Captain Cold) had a nice storyline as well, with his ex-partner Mick (Heat Wave) returning as the bounty hunter 'Chronos' was awesome as well.

I'm not really digging the current 'Firestorm' played by Jefferson. His acting and dialogue don't do the job for me, I much rather preferred Robbie Amell's version better. If you weren't aware, he's the real life brother of Stephen Amell, the Green Arrow.

This episode was a nice return from the show's multi-week break. I think with a bit of tinkering here and there, this series has a chance to live up to 'The Flash' and "Arrow' (except for Laurel).

My rating: 7 out of 10
